Iraq – Babylon University recently held a graduation ceremony for the first group of undergraduate students of the university’s twinning programme with the University of Northampton and the University of Liverpool John Moores in the fields of civil engineering, informational technologies and networks.
Students study two years in Iraq and two years in Britain, in addition to one year of language training. Babylon University president will attend the graduation ceremony in Britain.
It is worth noting that Babylon University was ranked 32nd among the best 100 Arab universities in the QS Arab Region Rankings 2016. Also, the university has gone up six places due to its improvement in scientific research performance and its increased number of the academic research published in the global search engines Scopus and TSI.
