Boosting Education Cooperation between Indonesia and Vietnam: President Uni participates in webinar hosted by the Indonesian Embassy in Hanoi

Dr Handa S. Abidin,Vice-Rector for Communication and Partnerships of President University was invited to the webinar “Cooperation between Universities of Indonesia – Vietnam” on 10 July 2020.

This webinar was organized by the Indonesian Embassy in Hanoi with the aim to explore opportunities for cooperation between universities in Indonesia and Vietnam in fields that are eminent to both countries and as a means of building networks between universities in Indonesia and Vietnam.

The event was attended by the Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam, H. E. Mr. Ibnu Hadi and moderated by Second Secretary for Education, Social, and Cultural Affairs, Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, Arum Primasty. Besides President University, representatives of other universities were also present as speakers, including representatives from Airlangga University, Thai Nguyen University, and Foreign Trade University.

On this occasion, Dr Handa shared President University’s experience in organizing international partnerships between universities outside Indonesia.

Dr Handa also explained the fields that had the potential to be explored between Indonesia and Vietnam to build collaboration in the field of education. To date, there have been many international students and alumni of President Universities coming from Vietnam. They originated from various regions/provinces in Vietnam, including Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, and many more.
