Students of Princess Nourah University have won first places at the Sports Tournament for the second year in a row

A distinctive group of Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University students have won first positions at the Ninth Annual Universities Sports Tournament, Kingdom level. The Tournament was held beginning of February and hosted by Dar Al-Hekma University in Jeddah.

The Basketball team of Princess Nourah University has won the first place for the second year in a row. The team includes 6 students: Asma’a Shareef, AlAnoud Al-Qahtany, Maria Bahlool, Elham Kasnawi, Noor Khanji and Asma’a Al-Shehri. In addition, The students: Elham Kasnawi from College of Languages and Asma’a Al-Shehri from College of Social Services has won the first place in the Relay Running Race. Moreover, the student Noor Khnji from College of Sciences has got second place in the Speed Race. The student Zainab Yousef from College of Computer and Information Sciences, as well, has won second place in Billiards.

The competition included six different sports: Basketball, Relay Running Race, Swimming, Billiards and Foosball. Nine Educational Institutions had participated in this competition, which are: Princess Nourah University, King Saud University Effat University, Dar Al-Hekmah University, King Abdulaziz University, Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences, Ibn Sina National College, Batterjee Medical College, Jeddah International College.

This magnificent win is an affirmation of what Princess Nourah Bin Abdulrahman University seeks, which is creating opportunities and potentials for improving the students educational, practical and physical skills in accordance with the Saudi Vision 2030.
