UNIVERSITAS AIRLANGGA NEWS – Universitas Airlangga Hospital (RSUA) continues to make improvements in various sectors in order to provide better services to the community. One of them is by holding a Medical Transfer Knowledge event between Universitas Airlangga Teaching Hospital and Taiwan Medical Industry. The activity was held in Dharmawangsa Hall, RSUA 8th Floor on Thursday, September 26, 2019.
The event involved staff and doctors from RSUA and representatives of several hospitals in Taiwan such as Taipei Medical University, National Taiwan University Hospital Yunlin Branch, Mytrex Health Technologies Inc., LITE-MED INC, MedicalTekCo.Ltd, TAITRA, Reliance, and PT.A2Z .
The main topic of discussion was medical knowledge exchange and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between RSUA and several hospitals in Taiwan. Prof. Dr. Nasronudin, Sp.PD., KPTI-FINASIM as the director of RSUA said that the collaboration was aimed to improve the quality of RSUA’s human resources.
“The results of this meeting are expected to be an effort to improve the competence of RSUA human resources. Some staff, whether doctors, nurses or technical staff will be sent to Taiwan to improve their competence, “he said.
He said that another collaboration can be established by utilizing or using Taiwanese healthcare equipment at RSUA. Prof. Nasronudin also said that there had been discussion since yesterday on several topics including the hospital operational and its services.
“The collaboration between Taiwan and RSUA was discussed yesterday regarding some topics including hospital operational, especially general surgery, cardiovascular services, craniofacial reconstructive plastic surgery, and other topics,” he said.
The collaboration between RSUA and several hospitals in Taiwan can be mutually beneficial. So, the collaboration can run in a sustainable manner and improve the services in RSUA.
“Later on, it will be discussed with more details related to the collaboration. We are also careful so this collaboration can be mutually beneficial, “he added.
